Training session on the STRATA Emergency Refuge Chamber (ERCX)

Safety underground is not optional — it is essential.

Recently in Obuasi, the Eden BizProcure Limited team, together with our partners Strata Worldwide, carried out an in-depth training session on the STRATA Emergency Refuge Chamber (ERCX), reinforcing the importance of emergency preparedness in underground mining operations.

The STRATA ERCX is a critical life-support system designed to provide miners with a safe haven during emergencies such as fires, gas exposure, or ground falls. Equipped with breathable air systems, CO₂ scrubbing, cooling units, communication systems, and emergency supplies, these chambers are engineered to sustain life when evacuation is not immediately possible.

The training focused on: ✔️ Chamber operation and functionality ✔️ Inspection and maintenance procedures ✔️ Emergency deployment protocols ✔️ Positive pressure and life-support management

At Eden BizProcure Limited, we are committed to delivering world-class refuge chamber solutions and mine safety systems to mining operations across Ghana and beyond, ensuring that underground teams have the protection they need when it matters most.

If your operation requires support with refuge chambers, inspections, maintenance, or training, our team at Eden BizProcure Limited is ready to assist.
